Internships

The Osiris Group is dedicated to preparing master’s-level students for careers in behavioral health through meaningful, hands-on clinical experience. Our internship program partners with graduate programs in Social Work and Mental Health Counseling to provide students with the opportunity to work alongside licensed clinicians and multidisciplinary teams. Interns gain exposure to a broad continuum of care—from early intervention services for young children and families to outpatient and community-based care for adolescents and adults—while developing the skills, confidence, and experience needed for professional practice.

Program Details

Master’s-level interns (MSW, MA, or MS candidates) have the opportunity to work with individuals, families, and groups from diverse social, cultural, emotional, and economic backgrounds. Interns gain valuable clinical experience while meeting the educational requirements and competencies established by their graduate programs.

Interns receive:

  • Individual supervision provided virtually by licensed clinicians

  • Monthly group supervision with fellow interns and clinical staff

  • Opportunities to observe and participate in multidisciplinary collaboration

Both first-year and second-year graduate placements may be accommodated at The Osiris Group, depending on program needs and school requirements.

Interns may be placed within one of the following programs:

In-Home Therapy

In-Home Therapy is an intensive therapeutic intervention designed to stabilize families experiencing crisis and reduce the risk of hospitalization or out-of-home placement.

In-Home Therapists provide structured, family-focused, strength-based services to children and adolescents (ages 20 and under) and their families. Services are delivered in the home and community, allowing clinicians to support families in their natural environments.

Families are supported in developing skills that improve social and emotional functioning, including:

  • Problem-solving

  • Communication

  • Limit-setting

  • Risk management and safety planning

This wraparound model pairs each master’s-level clinician with a bachelor’s-level Therapeutic Training and Support (TT&S) worker to collaboratively address the needs of the child and family.

Outpatient Services

Our outpatient clinic provides comprehensive behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and adults. Services include diagnostic evaluations, individual, group, and family therapy, psychopharmacology, and psychological and neuropsychological testing.

Our clinic supports individuals experiencing a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and substance use.

The Osiris Group primarily serves MassHealth members, offering accessible, comprehensive behavioral health services. In addition to therapy and medication management, our programs offer crisis support and care coordination to connect clients with community-based resources.
